The Graceful Ageing Project (My Naked Face 2012)

Today is my birthday.  I am twenty-eight.  Each year on my birthday I take a photo for my graceful ageing photography project and then I post it for all the world to see.  I shamelessly stole this idea from Mandajuice, who has been doing it for far longer. This is the only time each year you’ll ever see me without any makeup on.

This is the third year I’ve been taking these photos and although I know it’s a little narcissistic, I do find them quite interesting.  Over the past year I have changed my hair quite drastically, which I think makes me look a little older.  My skin is looking a bit more tired – I am not keen on the redness on my cheeks.  My pores across my nose are also entirely too visible, but aside from that, I don’t think I am looking too bad.

And incase you are interested, here are the photos from 2010 and 2011.

  1. Babe it is not your hair do making you look older! It’s 1. You’re OLDER, 2. You’ve lost some weight from your face, 3. You were TOTES smiling in the other shots.

You’re looking gorgeous, and so much more stylish/edgy with the new do.
