Totes Amaze, Yah?!

I’ve been meaning to post about this since last Thursday night, but I’ve been busy with my sister visiting and my Grandad’s birthday party, so it has waited until now.

If you read this, you’ll know I went back to work on a very very part time basis back in February. When I say I went back to work, I mean, I work one day a week with my husband at our video production company.  I spend the day doing a fair bit of social media stuff; I tweet, I write the odd blog post, I send out email newsletters to clients and I do a bit of admin.  He does the cool stuff; the filming, the editing, and networking.

Recently there had been some very quiet whispers that we might do a bit of work with some of the Made In Chelsea cast, through an agency we’ve got pretty chummy with lately.   Continue reading

Glossybox April 2012 – Limited Edition Natural Box

I loved my Glossybox last month.  Being a lover of chemical-free products, there was not a product in there I was disappointed with.  I’ve been subscribing since Christmas, and although I’ve always been happy with the selection of products I’ve received, this one was my favourite so far.

(wait, they are all of about 9 inches away from each other, but, you get the idea) I’ve been broadcasting myself on YouTube and really bloody enjoying it.

This is all part of some changes I’m making to this here blog.  A bit of a rebrand if you will.   Continue reading

Potato Gratin

Ruby wanted to help me make dinner last night, and so I decided it might be fun to make another vlog…. which led me to decide that ”Helping Mummy in the Kitchen” might well become a regular feature on my YouTube channel and here on my blog.

So last night we made potato gratin.  This is not my recipe, but that of my friend Dee.  She made it for me when I had just had Elliot and our church did a food rota for us.  On a side note, how nice is that? You have a baby, and then people bring you meals for a week or so.  It was great to have one less thing to worry about and it meant that we got to eat a load of different meals that we hadn’t necessarily tried before.  I loved it.  I’d have another bambino for the food rota alone.

So anyway, here is my vlog about our potato gratin.

And here is the recipe… Continue reading
